We're tossing our iPods and getting back to basics with this homemade crystal radio receiver! Well not really, but we do love the idea of some mechanical crafting, and this project takes just enough skill to make us feel like we can make our very own radio from scratch. It doesn't require any electricity or batteries, and should pick up all AM radio frequencies in your area. Go figure. Kit comes with everything you'll need, including a screwdriver.
