Issue #9 was created by visual artist Ryan Gander and design collective Europa, and consists of a pack of parallel playing cards, with different card faces printed on both sides of each card! The effect is mesmerizing, disconcerting, and enchanting, whether the cards are seen as decorative objects or as an invitation to create new, mind-bending games. Also included is a poster with instructions for playing "Parallel Black Jacks," along with a text on parallel dimensions, time travel, and gambling. (*And yes, thank you.
