We met Palo Samko earlier this year at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair, and like pretty much everyone else there, immediately fell in love with his work. Palo is a stunning woodworker and furniture maker. He's got a style all his own that lands somewhere between the raw-ness of George Nakashima and playfulness of Alexander Girard. We don't sell furniture here in the Shoppe, but we are very excited to offer these sleek and beautiful Rocking Bird sculptures. Each one is handcrafted by Palo, and is a perfect example of his remarkable craftsmanship. Each bird is unique and may not look exactly like what you see here. (Though it will be close.) Each measures approximate 7" long x 1.5" wide x 1.5" high. |
